Sapporo is one of Japan’s youngest but largest cities, with much to offer. Take a stroll through Odori Park in city center, or go out and party with the locals in Susukino. Along with the rest of Hokkaido, Sapporo offers a number of tasty local specialties – make sure to leave room for the soup curry and ramen! Or if you love lamb, try the Ghengis Khan, then wash it down with a flight of beers at Sapporo Beer Factory and Museum.
One of our favorite festivals of the year is the Sapporo Snow Festival, and we’re not alone! Thousands of visitors from all over the world flock to Sapporo in February to marvel at the larger-than-life snow sculptures in various locations throughout the city.
