Shibuya

Think Times Square of Japan – Shibuya, Tokyo seems to get a never-ending stream of people flowing from each and every direction, trying to get from point A to point B. Say hello to the world’s most loyal dog, Hachiko, immortalized in statue form outside of Shibuya Station. Hachiko was a real dog who came to greet his owner coming back from work every day, and continued to do so for years after his owner died.

Love shopping? Then head out to the countless department store giants, including but not limited to Shibuya 109 (trendy female fashion!), Hikarie, Tokyu Hands (great for DYI enthusiasts), and more! They say in Shibuya you can find something for everyone. If you’re tired of shopping, have a seat at the Starbucks and watch as hundreds of people pass each other by at the famous scramble crossing. Or, if you haven’t had enough shopping, Harajuku and Omotesando are just a few steps away. At night, Shibuya becomes a hotbed for the clubgoers and partiers. The city never sleeps!
