Day 1: Departure!
Depart from LAX for your BL adventure in Japan!

Day 2: Arrival
Arrive and check-in. In the evening, relax or join your guides for an optional side trip to Tokyo Tower. Option: Tokyo Tower + Dinner $45

Day 3: Otome Road and Butlers
This day will be all about fangirling (in the good way)! In the morning, we’ll head to Harajuku to shop and explore the amazing fashion and goods stores there. In the afternoon comes the main course: Ikebukuro and the shops on the fangirl-centric Otome Road! While here, we’ll also hit our first Butler Cafe to be pampered and treated like princesses (and princes).

Day 4: More Butlers and Drag Queens
Shibuya is stop #1 today, where you can shop or take an optional tour of a next-gen fashion gallery! Hopefully that will whet your appetite for lunch – which will be a visit to our second Butler Cafe! In the afternoon, we’ll hit Shinjuku – home to the Square Enix’s Artnia store, incredible shopping complexes, and superb art and manga supply stores. After dinner, get ready for a real show as we head to Roppongi for the amazing Drag Queen show at the Roppongi Kingyo showbar.

Day 5: Festival in Asakusa
There’s a big festival happening in Asakusa this day, so that’s where we’ll get the day started! We’ll wander the festival and have tasty festival food before boarding a “water taxi” going down the Sumida River to Odaiba. We’ll take in the views on the island and shop a bit before returning to our hotel for the night. In the evening, join us for an optional dinner cruise on one of Tokyo’s famous “Yakatabune” longboats! Option: Yakatabune $85

Day 6: Tea Time
Our day starts with a pre-paid tea and baked goods tea session in Shimokitazawa, a young hip neighborhood on the west side. In the afternoon, we venture to Akihabara, where guests can shop for the latest in anime goods, hit the game centers, and take an optional side trip to a maid cafe to see “how the other half lives!” In the evening, relax – or join us for dinner and karaoke. Option: Maid Cafe $40

Day 7: Extension to Takarazuka Revue
The main tour concludes today, but if you aren’t quite ready to head back home, join us for an extended three day journey that features the finest of Western Japan and a stop at a hot spring inn! For starters, we’ll be seeing a live performance by Japan’s internationally renowned all-female theatre troupe, the Takarazuka Revue! After the performance, we head back to Osaka for an optional Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki dinner.

Day 8: Traditions of Kyoto
Experience traditional Japan today in a tour of Kyoto! Our stops include the “gate tunnels” of the Fushimi Inari Shrine, the city views from Kiyomizu Temple, and other breathtaking cultural sites in the city limits.

Day 9: Onsen and Farewells
Today we bid the Osaka area adieu and land in the onsen/hot spring town of Ito! We’ll return to our ryokan to relax and enjoy the hot spring. A farewell gathering and social night will take place after dinner.
